Give the page one job
A B2B SaaS product page should help a defined buyer understand what the product is, where it fits in the workflow, what evidence supports its claims, and when another option may fit better.
This is the Really Good GEO product-page framework. It is a publishing and testing method, not a description of any AI system's ranking formula.
Rewrite the opening block
Make the first useful passage answer five questions without forcing the reader to assemble the meaning from slogans.
- What is it?Name the category in language a buyer would recognize.
- Who is it for?Name the team, role, company stage, or operating condition.
- What job does it perform?Describe the workflow and the concrete output.
- Why this approach?State the meaningful distinction without declaring universal superiority.
- What should happen next?Offer the appropriate evaluation step: documentation, example, trial, or conversation.
Cover the buyer's next questions
| Question group | Questions the page should resolve |
|---|---|
| Fit | Which teams, company stages, workflows, and use cases fit? |
| Implementation | What does setup require? Which systems connect? Who owns the work? |
| Control | How are access, review, security, and data-handling questions addressed? |
| Proof | Which claims have inspectable evidence, named methods, or specific examples? |
| Limits | Which use cases are outside the product's scope? |
Make claims defensible
- Replace unqualified superlatives with a specific capability or verified comparison.
- Put the source, method, sample, period, and limitation beside quantitative claims.
- Link integration and security statements to maintained documentation.
- Keep customer evidence attributable and permission-approved.
- Label demonstrations, sample data, and fictional examples where the text is extracted.
Help the buyer compare
A comparison section should define the decision criteria and give each option a credible best-fit case. Separate verified facts from your interpretation, date time-sensitive information, and link to primary product documentation where possible.
Publish and test
- Save the current page as the baseline version.
- Choose brand-free, comparison, and known-brand questions before checking results.
- Record repeated observations in the AI Citation Test Log.
- Change one important block at a time.
- Retest the same question set and report observations with limitations.
